As Director of Business Development and co-founder of SD3 Corporation in 2001, Julie Halverson is typically the first point of contact for potential SD3 customers. Throughout her career, Julie has diligently built relationships across diverse market segments and business sectors throughout the Chicago area.
Julie broke into market development for Robert Half International, the world's largest specialized staffing firm. Long hours and her instinctive ability to understand customer needs and create solutions were recognized in numerous awards from the company, including membership in the Chairman's Club and the President's Club. Julie eventually moved on when an opportunity emerged to get into IT consulting sales with BALR Corporation in Oak Brook, Illinois. She was hired into BALR by Tom Overholt, the current CEO of SD3. Over her two year tenure, Julie's extra effort resulted in her leading the entire BALR sales team in bringing in new business.
Julie has come a long way since mixing drinks at Oscar's in Elmhurst in the 90's. A native of Elmhurst, Illinois, Julie worked full time while attending Elmhurst College where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Communications. Julie enjoys golf, gardening, physical fitness and boating in her spare time. She is also active in Ronald McDonald House Charities.
