I just wanted to let you know that I was very impressed with the research Julie Cess did before she and Julie met with me last week. I don't know if she got it all from the website (I hardly ever look at it, so I'm not sure what's out there), but she knew quite a bit about the different business units and even that the mail order pharmacies save clients money by allowing them to triple up refills on a single co-pay. Per our conversation in our weekly meeting, Roger has been working on developing a program to automate the Recap Report. So far, he has accomplished the first 50 pages of the job aid with the press of 1 button (not kidding). He is extremely confident he can complete the entire report as well several other reports. However, what we didn't want to mention on the call is that he is a contractor and only has a week left. Unfortunately, because of his final week's workload he may not be able to complete the Recap Report. From our previous experience with Roger in the Fraud group, he has worked miracles. We hope you can occur with this urgency do to the time savings and accuracy that Roger's skills can add. Having said that, it would be extremely beneficial to the Walmart team as well as Sheree's entire organization to have his time extended. If there is anything that you Patty or Sheree you can do to get his time extended will be greatly appreciated. Paul previously mentioned Roger's impact in implementing automation to his unlimited team. I would like to acknowledge Roger for all the support he's doing for the ACM group. Every month, I send Roger the Unbundled Rate table (UARD) cd from Wiltel. He converts this from dmp file into miscellaneous Access tables and Excel table and saves them into a share drive. Without his help, I would not be able to do the Wiltel unbundled usage validation. I know that this is not part of his normal job but he does this graciously and on a timely manner. He's very courteous and professional in his business dealings. What he does is over and beyond his call of duty and would like to bring this to your attention. Appreciate all his time and efforts. A couple of employees in Denise's group stopped me to complement the work Roger is doing. He seems to be adding a huge amount of value. I have been extremely pleased with your responsiveness and the quality of SD3's work. The two big things we've worked on together were the development of the reports (consolidated and regional) and the reconciliation (when the monthly CDR analysis done by my region was inconsistent with the report). While you were away this past week, Dave was a great help to us. He stepped in where you would have if you were here. He stayed late on Monday to kick off the process to identify the re-rate records. He then arrived early on Tuesday morning to pull data for the finance team to review to validate that this is what we want to do. He then stayed late on Tuesday night to start the actual re rate process. We did not get the approval to re-rate until 6:30 P.M. Tuesday night.
